 About One-on-One Therapy Sessions

  • Individual Psychotherapy is a one-on-one session, where your therapist will collaborate with you to set attainable goals and work toward them. 

  • Individual Therapy sessions are 50 minutes

  • Yes, that’s our specialty! Sessions are currently offered through phone and video throughout Ontario. 

  • Yes to both. Our therapists use the Jane App platform to conduct sessions which is HIPAA and PHIPA compliant. All our therapists are members in good standing with their respective regulatory professional colleges (i.e. CRPO and OCSWSSW) and adhere to their standards of ethics including strict confidentiality.

  • Absolutely! We offer complimentary initial consultations so you can see if you resonate with the therapist of your choice. There is no obligation to book with the therapist you do your consultation with. Should you wish, you can choose to do consultations with other therapists to find the best fit for you.

  • Depending on the qualifications and experience of the therapists, the cost per session ranges from $125-$160.

  • Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all the major Credit Cards (Visa and Mastercard) and Debit cards.

  • Most insurance companies cover psychotherapy services. To find out if you’re eligible for coverage, contact your insurance provider to confirm your coverage for services by Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist.

  • Yes you can. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide a 48-hour notice. If the cancellation takes place in less than 48 hours in advance or is a no-show, the full rate of the session will be charged. Incase of emergency cancellation, please let your therapist or our Care Coordinator know as soon as possible.

  • We offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for those unable to afford the full fee. Please send us a message to inquire.
